Palm Sunday or Easter commemorates the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, among a crowd cheering him with olive branches, palms and flowers, so begins the Week. The village women come to Taxco to sell palm fronds woven by themselves, these bouquets are bought by the faithful and bring them to the priest to bless people usually keep them and hang them on their doors, businesses and homes.
